Pay Schedules in Relation to Award Begin and End Dates

Salaries are allocated to sponsored projects in accordance with the Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200), with specific compensation requirements contained in 2 CFR §§200.430-431. Salary payments may be allocated based on the award start and end dates, irrespective of the Pay Period title. The determining factor in allocating salaries is the date(s) for which the individual has earned compensation. Those dates must be within the period of performance.
