RSP: PI Financials Tool

A new and improved PI Financial Tool (Generation 2) has launched, offering principal investigators features to better manage their funding and staff resources. Used by numerous PIs on campus to track their grant finances, the original tool was conceived by an APR team and launched in 2011. Following through on a planned second phase, another APR team gathered feedback from researchers to identify new features. Generation 2 features include:

  • The ability to create and save "what if" scenarios for planning purposes
  • A personnel page that shows all staff paid from your grants
  • Salary projection views; six months or one month at a time
  • Granular access delegation; by person, by project
  • Open and closed projects in separate views
  • Links to additional documents in WISDM
