This tool is a Microsoft Excel version 97 & 95/5.0 spreadsheet designed to aid in the preparation of NIH project budgets.   Although this spreadsheet was developed using MS Excel for Win95, this spreadsheet will also work with later versions of Excel on MacIntosh (eg., Office 98 for Mac)

IMPORTANT NOTE: When using Microsoft Excel for Office 2000 or XP you must use the File -- Save As feature and Save As File Type "Microsoft Excel Workbook" (*.xls).  Select this option from the top of the Save As Type pull down menu. If you do not change the file type, you will receive an error message when saving the spreadsheet.

Instructions and help are also available through the workbook. Upon opening the spreadsheet be sure to "Enable Macros" in order to take advantage of the functionality built into this tool.

Right-Click on the link and select "Save As"
