What is Cayuse424?
The UW has purchased a Web-based Grants.gov system called Cayuse424 that is MUCH easier to use than the PureEdge tools.

What you can apply for with Cayuse424

Cayuse now supports any Federal application for NIH & NSF that is being submitted through Grants.gov (read the Program Announcement). In addition, any other application for any other Federal Sponsor that does not require any Agency Specific forms can be submitted through Cayuse. How do I know if I can? In Cayuse, when selecting the announcement or opportunity for your application to use, you will see the following:

 

Important dates

RSP recommends that you submit your application to your Dean's Office ten business days in advance of the deadline due to Grants.gov bandwidth limitations. It is certain that Grants.gov will bog down in the days prior to the deadline. RSP will do everything we can to submit on time, but we can't guarantee that the sponsor will be able to receive it in time because of limited bandwidth. If it is possible to get your application to us ahead of time, consider doing so to be on the safe side.

Training Opportunities:

 

The School of Medicine and Public Health will be providing demonstrations of the Cayuse software throughout the year.  Participants from any unit on campus are welcome to attend.   All times are 9-11 am. The scheduled dates are:
